If you ever feel like creating enough content for your blogs is a struggle then I really know how you’re feeling after the month I’ve just had😓
I was a week ahead of schedule with posts on this affiliate blog going into Christmas…
…Then the wheels came off and my content creation came to a juddering halt😥😿

Stick To Your Content Creation Plan – No Matter What Happens✍🏼📰📝
Easier said than done, as I just found out the hard way.
I had a blog post scheduled to go out on Christmas day; which would, of course, be seen by probably no one on the day🕶, but it had the potential to make my affiliate marketing product links🔗visible for a long time, potentially earning money💲💵💱 for me over the holidays, when people made their resolutions📜📰✍🏼 to finally start that business they’d been thinking about for too long.
I had a pretty bad case of‘Man Flu’😷🤒 at the start of the year, and was feeling fairly sorry for myself with it, so that disrupted my content creation and blog posting efforts quite badly.
That’s more lost earning potential an a major disruption to my digital marketing efforts.
I’m not saying this to attract pity or as a big ‘Boo Hoo’ sob, sob, poor me😢😭😿self-pity fest, but rather to set the scene, so to speak, of how badly my affiliate marketing business has been affected over the last month then show you what I’m doing to overcome the setbacks, get back on track – and stay there.
And the breakthrough I’ve made through sheer determination to never let this happen again, and to solve another problem…
I Discovered The True Beauty Of Passive Income In Affiliate Marketing
On the plus side I received a (small) commission for a sale, though I never did work out exactly where it came from so that I can multiply my marketing efforts in that area.
I’ve since received a commission from Aweber for an autoresponder subscription someone’s signed up for through my affiliate link.
I use Aweber for my email autoresponder service and have had a list of email subscribers there since last summer, which has earned me some good affiliate commissions from products I’ve recommended to my list.
I also use LeadsLeap because as well as an autoresponder, they provide hosting for 10 pages, pop-ups, traffic to your site via their ad system, link tracking – which I should’ve used for that affiliate link 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼♀️ – and various income opportunities.
I’m grateful to have a list of email subscribers I can send affiliate offers to on a regular basis, and it gives me the discipline to create content and send emails on a regular basis, which I’ve managed to do despite the problems I’ve had publishing this blog on schedule every week.
This post is in fact going out 2 months later than originally planned, and though it’s taken me until now to catch up with my afiliiate blog post routine, I’m scheduling this 2 days in advance – I know that all seems contradictory – and intend to stay ahead of schedule from now on after discovering some hacks and shortcuts to help me plan and create blog posts.
