I’ve been reading up on how to improve my blog, and attract more visitors and readers; but not actually finding out where the various buttons and functions are.
Naturally this left me feeling frustrated knowing that I wsn’t making my blog posts show as I wanted to readers, and the SEO wasn’t performing as it should.
What’s the use of an affiliate marketing blog if no one can find it to read the posts, and, hopefully, click on any of the links to the great digital marketing resources and products featured on it?
I Knew What To Do, But…
The problem was no one said where all the controls were situated so I was left fumbling around in the dark not knowing actually how to put posts in categories or create cornerstone posts, so I wsn’t able to do what I needed to, to give the posts and the blog the best chance of getting found and read.
Still, I searched around looking for the right way to do things…but obviously not in the right places because I still didn’t find what I was looking for.
I saw other blogs with posts with ‘Featured Images’ and neatly arranged in categories but couldn’t figure out how to do it.
Then I stumbled on the answers…
Funnily enough, it was while absent-mindedly trying to compose a new post, and veering slightly off the designated composition area that I noticed the options I’d been searching all over for.
Now I’ve created categories and started putting wxisting posts in them, and am putting the featured image in the posts.
I hope this is starting to make the blog more accessible and inviting to visitors, and I’ll hopefully find time to get my posts typed and scheduled in advance to give me more time to start building my digitaal marketing business and promote affiliate products I believe in that will deliver results to readers and help them in their goal of making money online.
