I’ve been posting brand new original materail on Pinterest for a few weeks now, and at first saw the monthly views drop, but the followers stay steady.
It took me quite a while to collect enough original images or work out how to create all I need, and it proved demanding and time consuming to do it
Finally Some Breakthroughs
I figured out that if Pinterest treats an image as original if the text is different, or it has a different hue or filter applied to it then I could create a stock of blank images and put text on them specific to the board they were going on or the link they’re promoting.
Here’s some examples of the first ones.

The trouble is they’re generic and I can’t pass AI generated images off as genuine photos…
…then i saw the answer💡
Why not create images that look hand drawn or painted, and have a distinct look or feel to them?
Here’s some examples of the early ones:

Now we’re getting somewhere!
They’re far from ideal, but I can start working with them, adjust the prompts, and get just the right look and colours that I like and can create a constant look and theme with to give my account a distinctive look.
Things became a bit easier still when I started using the images and content of the products I’m promoting.
This has the added advantage of people seeing exactly what they expect when they click on a link, and know they’re on the right page.
I’m posting three times a day; at 12 noon, 5PM, & 10 PMUTC, in my Affiliate Marketing, Passive Income, & Side Hustle boards, and I can promote several offers or programmes in each of them🙂😎😸
I make sure to use different landing pages on each of those posts
The only trouble with all this is…
I’m On A Treadmill I Can’t Seem To Get Off🐹🏃🏼♀️😰
I’m writing this on a Thursday and I’ve schedule Friday and Saturday’s Pins, and hope to do Sunday and Monday’s tomorrow, which should leave me free to do other things over the weekend, BUT if I don’t keep to this schedule my figures will soon start to fall; AND I need to be posting 10 times a day to see a significant increase in the stats.
Even though I’ve got a good stock of images and lots of great content I can link to, I feel 10 posts a day is beyond me, so I’ll look at hiring someone to do it for me.
The trouble is, I had a bad experience with someone doing it before, so I’m wary of doing that again.
Despite the monthly view figures increasing, the individual stats for my new original posts are all single figure, so it does look like I need someone who knows what they’re doing to make this a worthwhile exercise.
What a dilemma🤔🤷🏼♀️
There’s no income from Pinterest yet, and no guarantee a freelancer will generate enough to cover their fees, so I either find the time to post 10 times a day by dedicating myself to it, or use the bit of spare time I’ve gained by properly organising my Pinning to earn some money elsewhere to pay for a freelancer to do the job.
