I’m finally starting to see a bit of light at the end of the proverbial tunnel, and starting to make some progress now that I’ve got over the running around like a headless chicken 🐤🐥 without ever seeming to make any progress.
The worst thing about that situation was I just kept digging myself deeper into a hole🕳 because I never had time to plan anything📰✍🏼 or learn the new skills I need to really move ahead.
learning By ‘Doing’
I did pick up some new skills and learn a few things out of sheer determination to get things done, and the desperation to meet my blog, email, and Pinterest deadlines. 🕐⏱⏰
What could’ve turned into disaster on a couple of occasions was actually averted because the solution to the problem just seemed to present itself in something I’d overlooked before, and I learned a new skill or technique simply by ‘Having’ to complete the task, or else❗‼❕
After losing my way and being well behind schedule with both blogs early in the year due to events outside my control, AND lack of planning I’m now scheduling several posts well in advance, & this on will be published on time📰🕙
I’m publishing 6 affiliate marketing blog posts and sending three emails to my ezine subscribers every week, and publishing 3 times a day on Pinterest in my affiliate marketing, Passive Income, and Sidehustle boards.
The good news there is I’ve finally got an idea of the style and look of the images I want to Pin. It still needs some‘tweaking’ to finally get the exact look I want, but I’ve got a good collection of varied images in that syle. The featured image for this post is one of them, and the image below is just to give you an idea what I’m thinking of:
My Affiliate Earnings Report
So far this year I’ve earned $22.50 from 3 sales, and about $15 from a recurring subscription to a marketing software service, so that’s not even beginning to cover any of my ongoning expenses, which means trying to concentrate on some of the good quality recurring commission affiliate offers on Clickbank and other platforms – which caused me a bit of a panic😱 several weeks ago.
Because I’ve not earned anything from Clickbank affiliate sales since December I worried they’d close my account, so I asked in a forum how long I’m likely to have to get some sales, and even looked at some time-consuming methods to get traffic to the offers.
I was told it’s not lack of sales, but lack of ‘activity’ that results in account closures and when I checked my dashboard I saw a decent amount of activity over the previous few months. and am now promoting Clickbank affiliate offers on Pinterest and via Google site reviews. I’ll let you know how that goes in a few weeks time.
