Who’d believe that a slightly tatty old case for an original digital camera📸 could help solve a bit of a problem I’m having with Chat?🤔
Well that’s just what happened on Sunday while Chat was creating a spooky story about an old camera case🙂😎
It was running lightning fast, and working extremely efficiently after days of freezing up and seeming to take forever to do simple editing tasks🐌🐢
It’s been like watching paint dry trying to get anything done with it for quite a while now, and an absolute wonder that I’ve managed to get my blog posts scheduled on time so far, but I was worried about how I’d keep ahead of things this week then I noticed something…
I realised this Chat was so fast because it was brand new, fresh, and ofcourse, had no previous content cluttering it up.
I’ve been working in Chats I’ve saved after inputting instructions for creating or editing, and that means each time I open them all the previous work is in the memory, and it looks like that’s slowing them down.
It looks like I’ll have to learn how to create new GPTs to do these specific tasks, but in the meantime I’ll ask it to create a brand new chat using my existing instructions, or copy and paste them into new Chats then use them until they slow down.
The solution will probably be to create the GPT, so I’ll have to learn how to do that, but I’m glad I discovered the answer today, once I finally got round to getting on with this project that’s been gathering dust for months.

I’d set up a ‘resources’ page, but kept getting a 404 error when testing it, and spent hours in my cpanel trying to sort out the problem.
When I finally contacted support I was told because the folder I’d created had a capital R, that was the problem when I typed in a lowercase r when looking for the page🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♂️
I also had to be talked through how to rename and delete folders although that had been staring me in the face as well. DOH!🙄🤓😕🤡
