Side Hustle Diaries: Earned Money, But Not Getting Paid💲😠😡

It’s only $22.50c, a part of me says. Not a big deal really, but when you’re struggling for every penny, and this could pay for new software or a freelancer who could free up a lot of time – and earn a little bit of the fee back, it’s a MASSIVE DEAL!

On top of that, it’s also the loss of potential affiliate earning from other sales I could’ve sent to this vendor but, of course, aren’t doing while this standoff persists😠

It’s not directly their fault, but rather, some complete imbecile in ‘support’ who questioned if I’d paid to join the affiliate programme then was too dumb to understand I was accepted in to it as part of the deal of being in the coaching programme, which is all about promoting THEIR products.

I have to say,”I really knew that image would come in useful sometime😃😎”

As I’ve said with previous incidents; this might well be a valuable lesson and a warning at just the right time. As it stands I can’t get access to that money, but I might possibly have lost a lot more if that jerk had acted later in blocking me from my account dashboard🔐🚫⛔

That wasn’t the vendor’s fault because the idiot had acted on their own without asking for confirmtion as I’d requested, but now it’s…

Time For The Business Owner To Take Responsibility

The initial reply I got from the co-owner was along the lines I’d confussed the PLEBS with the word I used for the coaching. Then asked where I was registered.

Then silence🗣🎧🙉

I’m going to have to play it pretty calm in future requests for my money, and definitely insist on getting it before doing any more promotions for them.

It does really make me question my whole relationship with them & whether to ever sell for them or buy off them again.

Two LessonsTo Take From This Experience

The 1st is a piece of advice to you from a lesson I’ve learned the hard way…

Never, ever, pay to be part of an affiliate program. EVER!!!

The 2nd, is some thing that could be incredibly valuable to me that I learned through the coaching.

I’m looking for ways to promote another project and have toyed with the idea of TikTok, even though I really don’t like it.

I’ve realised the power of another social media more suited to me, which might be a really powerful method to use, so the whole thing may yet be worth far more than I originally hoped for, but in a surprising way😃😺😻😎🤑

Here’s a 3rd (bonus) positive: I’ve met some people through the coaching who’ve shared ideas and resources that would’ve cost me more than my ‘Losses,’ if I’d even been able to find someone willing to share them; so please keep looking for the positives in any setbacks, and be determined to learn from them.

Until next time.
